ELECTRONICS REPAIR POS

The repair and the retail sale belong at the same counter.

Phones, computers and consoles can bring a repair, a replacement part and an accessory into the same visit. Keep the device identity, authorized work, stock and invoice connected so the customer leaves with a clear record.

A screen repair with an accessory sale

Start with the approved repair. Add a stocked case or cable, check quantities and review the combined charges before checkout. Device starter prices remain editable.

Inventory that follows the part

Reserve and use parts against the repair, and sell merchandise from actual stock. Adding model or part templates does not create on-hand quantities.

Repeat visits with context

Open the customer’s prior repairs, item identifiers and warranty records. Record the new issue and condition instead of reusing an old authorization.

A counter workflow for your team

Use roles, location access, configured cash controls and supported terminal payments. Check the receipt and label format on your own printers before rollout.

Start with your specialty.

Choose the relevant intake fields and checks, then set your own services, prices and actual stock.

BEFORE YOU START

Know the scope.

Can I sell accessories without opening a repair?

Yes. Use the checkout catalog for stocked merchandise and services. A device repair can retain its own ticket and customer history.

Is phone unlocking or carrier activation included?

No. This workflow covers legitimate repair and retail operations. Carrier provisioning and unlocking services are not supplied by RepairHQ.

What should I check before using payments?

Confirm your provider account, supported terminal and connection, processing charges, receipt printers and staff permissions. Recording an offline card payment does not charge a card. Review POS and payment capabilities and subscription limits before rollout.

Plan the counter setup.

Check repair prices and margin, review inventory and purchasing, and explore location reporting. Use a sample job to review your full intake-to-invoice process before moving live work.
