An independent repair counter and an authorized service operation can share basic ticketing needs while depending on very different systems. Start by identifying which manufacturer connections, reporting and logistics are required for your work.
Fixably publishes repair automation, inventory, customer communications, reporting, and Apple GSX and Samsung iGSPN integrations. Read Fixably’s official page.
RepairHQ’s repair-counter workflow connects intake, estimates, parts and checkout. Manufacturer authorization, OEM systems and specialist depot logistics need a separate evaluation. RepairHQ is not presented here as a replacement for Fixably’s manufacturer integrations.

Three things to prove in your trial
Use sample data and your own test contacts. These are evaluation exercises, not measured customer outcomes.
CHECK 1
Separate retail repairs from authorized service
List a sample out-of-warranty repair beside an authorized warranty job. Identify every external system required to quote, order, document and close each job.
What to check: An OEM connection you cannot demonstrate is an unresolved requirement, even if the ordinary repair ticket works well.
CHECK 2
Follow the device and its accessories
Record a sample serial number, condition photos, received accessories, estimate and technician notes. Ask another employee to prepare the handoff.
What to check: The record should explain which item belongs to the customer, what work was authorized and what is being returned.
CHECK 3
Define the report you actually need
Write down the fields needed for a daily store review and a manufacturer service report. Compare each against demonstrated reports and exports.
What to check: General sales reports do not establish compliance with a manufacturer’s reporting or warranty requirements.

Does RepairHQ include the same OEM integrations as Fixably?
This guide makes no claim of Apple GSX or Samsung iGSPN support in RepairHQ. If those connections are essential, confirm them before considering a switch. Independent repair-counter needs should be evaluated separately.
Country, currency and payments need a separate fit check.
The current workspace is in English with USD shop accounting. Eligible local-currency subscription payments do not change the currency of your shop’s invoices or reports. Payment processors, terminals and messaging have their own availability and setup requirements.
