Build a counter that works for you. Find the printers, scanners and everyday essentials for your RepairHQ workflow—and keep the equipment that already does the job.
Practical recommendations. Clear setup requirements.
Choose a planning list, then add or remove items. These setups are checklists, not hardware bundles for sale.

Add receipts, a connected terminal and a place for cash.
A full counter with a second browser device and network planning.
Each list contains equipment types, not quantities. Repeat and verify the setup for every counter and location.
Software workflows are listed on each card. Exact device compatibility needs a check on your own workstation.

Start with the computer you already use. Give the counter a full keyboard, a readable display and room for the day’s work.
A practical starting point for a dedicated receipt station. Choose the exact model and connection that suit your counter.
Label repair devices and stock with a dedicated desktop label printer. Match the loaded roll to the layout before you print.
Choose a keyboard-mode scanner. A 2D model adds QR reading to standard barcode scanning; the Zebra DS2208 is one example to evaluate.
Use a terminal provisioned for your BlockChyp merchant account. Confirm the device and service with the provider before purchasing hardware.
A manual locking drawer is a simple starting point. A printer-driven model needs the correct printer interface, cable and voltage.
An existing iPad or Android tablet can be evaluated for browser access at intake or the bench. Test the actual workflow before dedicating it to the counter.
Use an installed laser or inkjet printer for full invoices, estimates and other documents that need more space than a receipt.
Plan dependable internet, sensible cable routing and backup power sized for your router and workstation. Reuse good equipment where it fits.

Often, yes. Start with the equipment you own, confirm its operating-system support and test the RepairHQ workflow. A printer that can print the selected PDF at the correct size or a scanner that sends keyboard input may meet your needs without replacement.
No. This guide combines existing RepairHQ software workflows with practical equipment suggestions. Exact model, operating system, drivers, media and network setup determine the result. Complete a sample print, scan or terminal acceptance check before purchasing a full rollout.
These are planning lists, not hardware orders. Manufacturer links help you confirm specifications and available sellers. Hardware, shipping, warranties, payment processing and any setup services are separate from your RepairHQ subscription. Request a compatibility review before placing an order.
Receipt and document printing uses the installed driver and your browser or PDF print controls. Direct DYMO printing requires DYMO Connect and its local service on the workstation. This guide does not enable PrintNode, QZ Tray, CloudPRNT or unattended receipt printing.
No. Browser access and peripheral access are different. Test the exact tablet, browser, printer and connection. For desktop DYMO printing, use a supported workstation with its local service. A generic Bluetooth reader is not a substitute for a provider-provisioned payment terminal.
Repeat the checklist at each store: paper size, labels, barcode lookup, terminal assignment, network connection and a complete sample workflow. Record the model, connection and result so staff can reproduce the setup.
