A general service platform can serve many trades. A repair shop still needs to prove the details of its own work: the item at intake, a part reserved for that item, the approved scope and a clean pickup invoice.
Orderry’s repair-shop page covers work orders, scheduling, invoicing, inventory, mobile workflows and multiple trades. Read Orderry’s official page.
RepairHQ offers industry-specific intake, repair tickets, purchasing and location reporting. Compare these using your actual trade. If field dispatch, a native mobile app or accounting sync is essential, confirm that requirement separately; a browser workspace or report export is not the same capability.
Published by RepairHQ. Orderry is a separate business; this is not an independent review or a claim of affiliation. Competitor offerings can change after the review date.
Three things to prove in your trial
Use sample data and your own test contacts. These are evaluation exercises, not measured customer outcomes.
CHECK 1
Test an appointment that becomes a repair
Create a sample appointment, check in the item and assign the technician. Change the promised completion time after diagnosing a second issue.
What to check: Can the counter identify the next action and approved scope? If you dispatch technicians off-site, test the scheduling and access requirements independently.
CHECK 2
Receive only part of a supplier order
Order two sample parts, receive one and reserve it for the correct repair. Leave the second part outstanding.
What to check: Distinguish received quantity, available quantity and outstanding order quantity before telling a customer the job is ready.
CHECK 3
Compare the operating budget
List your locations, active staff, work volume and required services. Compare the published plans using the same billing period.
What to check: Include extra locations, users, provider fees, imports and any mandatory add-ons. Use current written quotes rather than assuming the lowest advertised plan covers your shop.
Know the RepairHQ subscription scope.

Retain work-order and appointment exports with customer and item identifiers intact.
Separate completed work from unfinished jobs. Map stages and technician assignments in a sample import before choosing a cutover date.
Reconcile stock quantities, deposits and opening balances separately. Confirm export formats and supported imports with both vendors.
Is RepairHQ a direct replacement for all Orderry workflows?
Fit depends on your shop. Demonstrate the repair workflow, then verify field-service, localization, accounting and integration requirements individually. This guide does not promise an automatic Orderry migration.
Country, currency and payments need a separate fit check.
The current workspace is in English with USD shop accounting. Eligible local-currency subscription payments do not change the currency of your shop’s invoices or reports. Payment processors, terminals and messaging have their own availability and setup requirements.
