Review and issue a repair invoice

Check the customer’s charges before starting payment.

Review before issuing

  1. Open the saved repair or its invoice review action. Confirm the customer and location.
  2. Check the repair/service description, quantities, prices, tax and any deposit or credit already recorded.
  3. Issue the invoice when the charges are correct, then open the payment options shown for that invoice.
  4. After payment, confirm the recorded payment and remaining balance before printing or sharing the invoice.

If the amount looks wrong

Review individual lines and existing receipts first. A deposit applied to an invoice is not new money collected a second time.

Do not create another invoice or record another payment merely because a terminal response is slow. Check the existing payment attempt and its status before proceeding.

About this AI guide & voice

AI answers can make mistakes. Messages are processed by OpenAI, or a configured Gemini or xAI Grok backup if a provider is unavailable. Voice clips you choose to record are processed only by OpenAI. Voice becomes an editable draft before you send your question. RepairHQ does not save this chat or recordings to its database; refreshing clears the page’s conversation. The processing provider’s retention policies may apply. Please leave out passwords, payment details and customer records. This guide cannot access or change your shop.

Typing works without microphone access. The microphone runs only while you record. Questions and recordings have usage limits.
