Imports & records

Find imported RepairDesk history

Read historical tickets and invoices without confusing them with live balances.

Find the historical record

  1. Open the customer profile’s RepairDesk history section for linked records.
  2. For a broader search, use Data & imports → RepairDesk history within your permitted stores.
  3. Review the original source reference, item details and customer match.
  4. Ask an authorized manager to review unmatched or incorrect customer links using the provided review workflow.

Historical amounts stay historical

Imported paid or due amounts are source values. They do not automatically create native receipts, current receivables or new repair tickets.

Active work or genuine outstanding balances need a separate reconciled cutover. Imported history is not exposed in customer portals, and a customer’s home store should not be used to guess the original ticket’s location.

About this AI guide & voice

AI answers can make mistakes. Messages are processed by OpenAI, or a configured Gemini or xAI Grok backup if a provider is unavailable. Voice clips you choose to record are processed only by OpenAI. Voice becomes an editable draft before you send your question. RepairHQ does not save this chat or recordings to its database; refreshing clears the page’s conversation. The processing provider’s retention policies may apply. Please leave out passwords, payment details and customer records. This guide cannot access or change your shop.

Typing works without microphone access. The microphone runs only while you record. Questions and recordings have usage limits.
