Reports & daily close

Review a store’s daily close

Compare collections, cash sessions and optional processor evidence.

Review the day

  1. As an owner or administrator, open Reports → Daily close and select the store and shop-local date.
  2. Compare customer collections and refunds with counted cash sessions. Resolve open drawers and unconfirmed terminal attempts.
  3. If available, review the existing BlockChyp batch evidence and investigate unmatched or mismatched records.
  4. Record the review note and supporting references, then save the reviewed version when the source is current.

A review is not a bank deposit

Processor expected deposits and statement annotations are evidence to compare; they do not confirm money reached your bank. Store sales, processor batches and bank deposits remain separate.

Daily close reads existing batch records. It does not charge cards, issue refunds, close processor batches or transfer funds. Later activity can mark a saved source as changed and require renewed review.

About this AI guide & voice

AI answers can make mistakes. Messages are processed by OpenAI, or a configured Gemini or xAI Grok backup if a provider is unavailable. Voice clips you choose to record are processed only by OpenAI. Voice becomes an editable draft before you send your question. RepairHQ does not save this chat or recordings to its database; refreshing clears the page’s conversation. The processing provider’s retention policies may apply. Please leave out passwords, payment details and customer records. This guide cannot access or change your shop.

Typing works without microphone access. The microphone runs only while you record. Questions and recordings have usage limits.
