Plan an integration
- Open the public Developer API documentation from the site footer or API & integrations.
- Review the supported resources, response examples, OpenAPI file and Postman collection.
- Have an owner or administrator create the appropriate scoped token through the authorized settings workflow. Keep it in your server environment.
- For webhooks, verify signatures and timestamps and deduplicate delivery IDs before processing events.
Know the current scope
The public v1 API is read-only and tokens are scoped to a business and location with an expiry. Do not assume there are public write, payment or staff endpoints.
Webhook delivery uses scheduled or owner-triggered batches and retries. Design for delayed and repeated delivery rather than treating webhooks as guaranteed real-time events.
