Prepare and receive an order
- Open Inventory → Purchasing and choose the location and supplier.
- Review the items, quantities and costs on the purchase order. Confirm the actual order with your supplier through the supported ordering process.
- When the delivery arrives, compare the parts and quantities with the order.
- Receive only the parts actually accepted. Review any shortage or discrepancy before treating the order as complete.
Drafts do not place orders
A stock-planning suggestion or MobileSentrix import can create a draft purchase order. That does not submit a new supplier order or add inventory on hand.
Check shipping, tax and discounts separately when the supplier integration does not allocate them to item costs. Keep the supplier’s reference so staff can reconcile the delivery.
